In memory of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg

This past weekend we celebrated the beginning of a New Year while mourning the loss of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and found ourselves acknowledging Naomi Shemer's sentiments, the "bitter with the sweet, the sting with the honey."

Justice Ginsburg was a pioneer of the law and an inspiring, trailblazing Jewish woman who made an enduring contribution to our civilization. Her passion for justice has touched each of our lives.

We fondly look back on our Institute's Learning on Wheels visit to the "Notorious RBG" exhibit at the National Museum of American Jewish History last fall, as we look ahead to the many ways we can honor her legacy.

May the memory of Yita Ruchel bat Tzirel Leah, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg be for a blessing, and may all who mourn her be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
