Join us for an uplifting afternoon of Stories, Songs, and Soul!

Aimee Ginsburg Bikel, journalist, author, and professional public speaker for over 40 years, presents this unique and moving program that tells the story of Theo’s remarkable life, career, and legacy.  Beginning with events that shaped his life following the rise of Nazi Germany and his escape from Austria to his life in Palestine, where he discovered his love for acting and singing, Aimee takes us along Theo’s journey to London and the United States, highlighting Theo’s incredible Tikkun Olam work.

Don’t miss this tribute to a legendary Academy, Emmy, Tony, and Grammy-nominated actor and folksinger, civil rights, peace, and Jewish activist,t and devoted labor union leader. Known for creating iconic roles on stage, film and TV, including playing Captain Von Trapp in the Broadway production of The Sound of Music – and Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof (more than any other actor in history), Bikel also co-founded the Newport Folk Festival with Pete Seeger.

Join us after the presentation for a book-singing session and a coffee and dessert reception.
